The Firesafe

What is a Firesafe?
BPR Medical's award-winning Firesafe™ helps reduce the risk of fires associated with oxygen therapy by stopping the flow of oxygen and extinguishing the fire that flows along the oxygen tubing.

The Firesafe can be installed directly in the oxygen supply circuit and at the interface of the oxygen concentrator or pressure cylinder and offers the following advantages:

• Reduces the speed at which the fire spreads

• Prevents fire from reaching the supply source

• Minimizes fire size and cleanup costs

• You gain valuable time to evacuate people from the scene of an accident.

• Can be used bi-directionally

• No maintenance required and maintenance free

The Firesafe™ Cannula Valve minimizes the known fire risks associated with oxygen therapy. It acts like a fuse, automatically cutting off the oxygen supply and ensuring that the fire is extinguished as it travels back through the hose.

Reduces the speed at which fires can spread, reducing the impact on both patients and healthcare workers.
