This is how Invacare came into being in Witterswil
Invacare AG at the Swiss location in Witterswil is still young and has only had its name since April 1, 2010. However, its history begins much earlier, with the founding of the Home-Tech company in 1992. A year later, the company became a 100 percent subsidiary of Ulrich Alber GmbH and thus renamed Alber AG. The focus was on establishing Alber products in Switzerland. With the takeover by Domus Healthcare GmbH, the products from Aquatec and Dolomite were added to the Alber products. Since 2004, the company has been running after being taken over by Invacare Corp. under the name Mobitec Rehab AG.
By renaming the company, it is now also shown to the outside world that the former Mobitec Rehab AG belongs to the global Invacare group. However, only the name has changed - the proven sales system still exists.
